Tender Tech Child Development Center

Tender Tech Child Development Center is located on the Flint River Campus of Southern Crescent Technical College and serves as a licensed preschool program offering care and education for children ages 3 to 5 years. We proudly serve both the college community and the public.

Tender Tech is a Bright from the Start Quality Rated Center, committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. For the safety of all children and families, each classroom is equipped with security cameras.

We use a hands-on, play-based approach to learning through the Creative Curriculum, tailored to meet the developmental needs of Preschool (ages 3–4) and Georgia’s Pre-K students. Our teachers design weekly lesson plans based on themes and units, incorporating interactive activities that align with each child’s interests and developmental level.

Each semester, teachers assess children using the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and meet with families to share progress and collaborate on learning goals.

Tender Tech accepts CAPS (Childcare and Parent Services) from Bright from the Start and participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to provide nutritious meals for enrolled children. Quality Rated Subsidy Grants are also available for eligible families to help offset the cost of care.
